Spyder Club regularly have special offers, to be kept up to date with these please subscribe to the newsletter. Members of the armed forces and emergency services receive a 10% discount off the membership fee.
- Can I join Spyder Club if I don't have a British motorbike licence?
Foreign motorcycle licence holders are welcome to apply.

The insurance excess on the road bikes is £750. This amount is only payable if the damage matches or exceeds this amount, if the bike can be repaired for less, then that is the sum that will be charged. General wear and tear will not be charged for; the bikes are here to be ridden!
The only extra costs for members include fuel and speeding or parking fines. Also any repair or damage costs up to the value of the insurance excess.
Yes, the bikes can be taken anywhere within the EU with prior permission from Spyder Club. The bikes also have accident and breakdown cover anywhere within the EU.
Only the track bikes are allowed on track to be used as part of an organized track day event. Yes, the Nurburgring does count as a track...
The insurance excess is £750 for the track bikes however the minimum charge for any damage will, at Spyder Club’s discretion, be £250.
A weekend runs from midday Friday to midday Monday.
The midweek hire period runs from 9.00am on Tuesday to 17.00pm on Thursday.
Single days can be booked on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday and run from 9.00am until 17.00pm. Where possible bikes will be made available for up to 23 hours.
A bank holiday runs from midday Friday to midday Tuesday.
Single days cannot usually be booked over the weekend however we try to be flexible where possible to please contact us for individual requests.
Membership ends one year after it commences or whenever you have run out of days, points or miles. Membership can be renewed at any time.
Yes, all Spyder Club members are fully comprehensively insured for themselves and their pillion passengers.
Yes, bikes can be delivered and picked up for a nominal cost per mile. Quotes will be calculated from whichever Spyder Club base is nearer to the members address.
Spyder Club has an online booking system which all members have access to or bookings can be taken by phone or email.
Spyder Club accepts all major credit and debit cards and personal cheques. Monthly payment options are also available.
Yes, members have the option to pay a one off initial fee followed by three or six monthly instalments:

Half of the points and miles will be allocated on joining with the remainder released pro-rata.
Spyder Club have an online booking system which is run on a rolling monthly calendar so all members have an equal opportunity to book within that period. Furthermore, we have set our bike to member ratio at 1 bike: 5 members to try to ensure good availability, therefore the more members, the more bikes at Spyder Club.
Also each membership level has the opportunity to advance book a number of times within their year’s membership:
£2,000 level has 4 advance bookings
£1,000 level has 3 advance bookings
£800 level has 2 advance bookings
Inevitably there may be times when a particular bike is not available but we will do our best to ensure an alternative is provided.
Applicants must: be aged between 25 and 70 years of age; have no more than six points on their licence; have held their full motorbike licence for at least two years and have at least two years no claims bonus.
Membership may still be considered on an individual basis if not all of the above stipulations are met, please contact us for further information.
A 10% discount is available for groups of three or more joining together. If you introduce a friend while a member then you will receive 10% off your next year’s membership fee.
Membership cannot be shared but there are discounts available for group joining or if you introduce a friend.
You can ride as far as your mileage allowance lets you. If you find that you are using excessive miles or would like to discuss an increased mileage package then please contact us.
Your bike will be stored inside either unit and we have secure parking for cars also. N.B. parking is available but more limited at our Maidenhead base; please contact us for further details.
