Spyder Club Motorcycle Tour: Southern Spain Season Starter
Having had another successful 4 weeks in southern Spain at the beginning of 2011, Spyder Club are once again offering a fly ride trip to the region of Andalucia with a fleet of beautiful motorcycles from Spyder Club’s fleet along with some new additions ordered for the new year!! Join us from Friday 9th March to Tuesday 13th March or Wednesday 14th to Sunday 18th or Monday 19th to Friday 23rd March 2012 for four days of stunning riding in the winter sun of Spain on truly amazing motorcycles.
Flee the winter gloom of the UK to ride under Spanish skies across entertaining mountain roads unspoilt by the usual traffic met on British highways. Each route offers something different – from challenging hairpins and spiraling mountain roads to fast-flowing sweeping bends. This is a short break that offers like minded company for motorcycle enthusiasts.

Group One – Fri. 9th March – Tues. 13th March 2012 (Full)

Days Riding - four
Arriving into Malaga airport in the late afternoon/early evening for welcome drinks, buffet and introductions. Your return flights will need to be booked for late afternoon/early evening on the final day of riding.
Day one - after breakfast and briefing the day heads to Malaga using the A45 motorway to familiarise riders to riding on the right hand side of the road before heading off towards Monda and the fun stuff! From Marbella we turn north towards Ronda and one of the best roads in Europe. The route continues to impress, taking the Malaga mountain road east and then across country to head back to the villa and a well earned beer!
Day two - many of the roads used on day two offer spectacular mountain passes and riders can look forward to a day of exhilarating and very challenging riding. The route heads east along fast sweeping roads towards before climbing mountain roads and aiming for Granada. We then go to the town of Montefrio and its Moorish castle. The route then heads further north towards sweeping roads once more, finally returning to the villa in the early evening. There are new parts to day two’s route for 2012, they won’t disappoint!
Day three - it’s too good a road to only do once, so we do it twice! The Ronda road is once again used but not before getting there on quiet mountain roads through the breaktaking scenary Andalucia has to offer. We then use a long piece of road that stretches out before you allowing you to enjoy the limited traffic and views before reaching Ronda and the decent to the coast on the Ronda road. From the coast we head inland over sweeping wide roads, then head back across country to the villa and refreshment!
Day four - a shorter day to allow for packing and airport transfers, riding begins after breakfast for the final time. The route heads towards Colmenar turning south towards Malaga for 25 miles of beautifully laid twisting tarmac with barely any traffic. As this is so good we turn at the end and do it all over again! Upon arrival at the villa a late lunch will be served before your departure.
